My 7 year old and 4 year old daughters have their regular eye check ups and Emma is great at putting them at ease. My 4 year old has glasses and loves her new Matilda glasses frames. The assessment for kids is very thorough and something we would not have picked up with our youngest daughter if it wasn’t for Emma’s thorough assessment. My wife and I have had regular eye tests... read more at a large-chain optician for decades but she developed AMD a few years ago. Since then, despite regular new prescriptions, her failing sight led to her to gradually give up driving, reading newspapers and being able to read text on the TV. However, her Consultant urged her several times "to get her eyes properly tested", so we searched and found the many positive reviews for Eyes of Swavesey. We want to thank you all for that, and are adding our experience to help others with “poor vision”. On our initial visit we were welcomed and treated so well that what had previously been a stressful ordeal became a pleasant experience. Emma’s examination made us feel we were in safe hands at last and, amazingly, she assured my wife that she should be able to see well enough to drive if she wanted to. Throughout the process everyone's behaviour was exemplary but Rachel especially was cheerful and patient in guiding us through the many options available for glasses with the new prescriptions. When these arrived even I noticed a marked improvement, but for my wife it was an immediate and life-changing experience. Suffice to say that she can now read newspapers and TV text for the first time in several years! If you wish to be certain you are seeing everything you should be, we suggest that you cannot do better than going to Eyes Of Swavesey!

They are always friendly and helpful and their new premises are comfortable and spacious. I've just started using their hearing services which are also good.
